Step 2: Wi-Fi Pairing, Cloud & Security

Connect to a 2.4 GHz wireless network, select your cloud server region, and configure stream encryption.

📶 Part 1: Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz Network Configuration

Smart cameras use 2.4 GHz wireless signals for superior penetration through walls and longer transmission range. Dual-band 5.0 GHz is not supported.

Router Pairing Checklist:

Separate 2.4 GHz SSID: Connect your phone to the 2.4 GHz network name during pairing.
AP Isolation Disabled: Ensure Access Point Isolation is OFF in router settings.
QR Scan Distance: Hold phone screen 15–20 cm (6–8 in) in front of the lens until you hear the confirmation beep.

Select your nearest regional cloud server node for minimum P2P streaming latency:

📍 Active Node: Server 1 (US East) — Estimated P2P Latency: 18ms. Optimal for live 1080p stream transmission.

Set a dedicated device password to encrypt local RTSP stream tunnels against unauthorized interception.

Enter 8+ characters with uppercase, numbers, and symbols.

Smart Wi-Fi security cameras operate exclusively on the 2.4 GHz frequency band for maximum wall penetration.

Router AP Isolation: Ensure AP Isolation is disabled in router settings so the camera can sync with your mobile app.
DHCP Auto-IP: Ensure DHCP is enabled to automatically assign local IP addresses (e.g. 192.168.1.X).
Password Recovery: If you ever forget your device password, perform a 10-second button reset on the camera hardware.
